  1. Laminating White vinyl to the back of 6mm/0.24in clear acrylic

I do laminate anything flat on my 65" laminator, even up to 1/2", what I do is stick the edge of the vinyl, feed about 2" into laminator, flip the vinyl to go around the roller, then remove the liner/backing and feed material, it will be no bubbles.
  2. Arlon dog 4400 for wall wraps

I will try General Formulations 226 HTR (high tack removable) look it up, that is another option, 6mil thickness and no need for lamination.
  3. Question problem buying jetbest inks on ebay (no combined shipping)

I do not know where you are, but try to contact the manufacturer, 818 8864000 I buy from them direct and I pick it up, (I am about 6 miles away) Or contact Ordway Sign Supply, www.signsupply.com this is a distributor. I believe both places have the ink for $45 a bottle of 500ml and they are in...
  4. Flatbed printer Canon 135GT or 1300 or mimaki?

We have a Mimaki JFX200-2513, but we changed the printheads 2 times, I will research the price of parts most frequently used and go from there. (each printhead cost is about $4500.00)
  5. How to set the start on a Mimaki JFX200-2513 at the exact edge of the material?

I have a new print head installed, and every print comes about .03" off, it prints in the pin, I have to set the image to print .03" to start at the material, how do I set the machine to print exactly at the material, when placed in the bottom right corner?
  6. Difference between Wall Coverings and Wall Wraps

thank you. I have seen that in wall paper, just a new building in campus.
  7. Lamination problem

is this encapsulating (hot lamination) or it is just cold lamination? check for rollers if there is a flat area, (when not in use, leave the rollers open, to prevent becoming flat)
  8. Strong Clear Adhesive Vinyl Recommendations

If you try to print with a latex printer, watch out for the drier, to much heat will warp the material.
  9. What Vinyl to use, help pls

I keep an eye on the forum, but did not see this before. without reading some of the suggestions, I was going to tell you that one of the best options is to print reverse on clear adhesive and then apply regular white vinyl to use it as white background, I did it with some stickers to have text...
  10. Vinyl removal

....... I regularly use WD40 to remove the left over glue when removing adhesive, it works perfect for me; let it soak for a couple of minutes or little more and then use a plastic razor, or squeegee; I sand the squeegee to sharpen the edge and have a wider area, more than a regular plastic...
  11. Laser Head Accumulates Soot During Engraving

Hi I agree with CanuckSigns and Gary Wiant, I did exactly as they explain and I do not have that issue, only when I do a lot of engraving, I clean the lens, other than that, I check it before any job and I do not have to clean it.

thank for the time to respond to me. for the updates to 5.5.1, from 4.0.0, all I did is transfer the folders in the old computer to the new computer, it worked, I am at 5.5.1, but I do not have a local printer, I will read the manual you sent me and will try with the disk, when installing it...
  13. print/cut alignment driving me crazy

I jump into this and hope my info will help. I had an issue a while ago, the printing was skipping about 3 millimeter, but it was about every 12" apart, I was going crazy, until I check the motor behind the control panel on a Roland RE 640 and found out that a little drop of ink was on the...
  14. Difference between Wall Coverings and Wall Wraps

Great information about the wall wrap and wall covering, but what is a double cut?.
  15. Roland Versaworks 5.5.1 (not 6)

JimDTG thas is correct, with these printers, I do not have to change size when I print different sizes, we print different sizes, specially 24x36, 18x24 and 12x18, they come with bleeds or crop marks, instead of cropping them in versaworks, I create these printers with that specific size...
