Hello Joseph - thanks for the great tips - on the VariAc - there are a ton of them on ebay all different specs and price ranges - can you define requirements so i get the closest match to whats needed I have a good skill saw and the correct blade.
At the recent Graphic's Canada Expo I came across a vendor using the Nix Color Sensor to both scan and adjust color values for printing DTF
Anyone using this hardware and associated software for large format printing to help with profiles and color print shades?
I never considered reflective curing back wards to the heads. We have printed the UV on the reflective and it looked good -however i was wondering if the solvent allowed more of the reflective qualities to show through the ink. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Does anyone know if UV print is the same effect as solvent printing on reflective -
UV layers ink on top[ of the media so not sure it works the same as solvent (no experience with Solvent just UV and AQ)
Does anyone have any photos of finish prints on Metallic vinyl looking at doing a donor board printed text on metallic gold or silver with UV curable - wasn't going to overlaminate - but i see some people recomend that
we use to use PhotoTex fabric - its very nice but pricy - we switched to Mojave Wall Graphics SPMWGC -Ultra Removable Adhesive and a 90# Release Liner and it holds up well we even used it outdoors unlaminated with UV curable ---- its good for Eco-Solvent, Solvent,
UV-Based, and Latex inkjet...
looking at a Graphic Whizard PT 8336SCC Slitter, Cutter, Creaser for digital post print bindery
Was wondering if anyone has a GW or a sliitter/cut/creaser and is it worthwhile - we have a programmable cutter but this looks more efficient
just asking
