The 1st Annual Signs 101 Super Bowl Pick-Em Contest is officially open for entries. We've got some great prizes at stake and everyone eligible is welcome to enter. There is no cost involved.

This kind of a thing can get complicated so I'm going to list out all the rules and tie-breakers that apply. Questions and comments are welcome.

CONTEST RULES

1. Only one entry per eligible member.

2. Eligibility requirements are that you are a registered member of Signs 101 with at least ten (10) posts at Signs 101 at the time of your entry and that you are at least 18 years of age. Members with administrative status or members related to administrators are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry must be posted on this thread before kickoff time of the first playoff game which is 4:30 PM, Saturday, January 3, 2004.

4. Entry items shall consist of:
The AFC team that reaches the Super Bowl.
The NFC team that reaches the Super Bowl.
The team that wins the Super Bowl.
The combined points scored by both teams in the Super Bowl without being higher than the actual points scored.
5. There will be three (3) prizes awarded. These prizes are:
One copy of VinylMaster Cut signmaking software.
One copy of Signfonts Total Font Package.
One copy of Plotter Art™ Originals Volumes 1 and 2 clipart.
The first place winner will be awarded first choice of one of the available prizes. The second place finisher receives second choice and the third place finisher receives the remaining prize. Prize availability is based on statements made by the prize donors. In the unlikely event that any prize is not available, a reasonable substitution will be made by Signs 101, however the nature of that substitution shall be at the sole discretion of Signs 101.

The winner and runner-up order of finish is based on the following order of accuracy:
Both teams correct, winner correct, closest total points without being over actual points scored.
Both teams correct, winner correct, closest total points even if over actual points scored.
