The Super Bowl pool has been up on the Home Page for more than a day now and seems to be going unnoticed with only one entry so far.

There is no cost, you don't even need to like football, and you could win a pretty nice prize.

Must admit to being very surprised at only seven entries so far in the Super Bowl contest.

This is a no-cost, no strings attached contest for almost $700 worth of prizes ..... and you don't even need to know anything about football.

Free prizes, how can you go wrong. Just pick two teams and a total score of the big game Feb. 1. Entries have to be in by tomorrow. Anyone could win. The winning entry may not have even been entered. Nobody knows til Feb 1 . I challenge anyone not already entered to make an entry, and make a football guy like me finish in last place. If anyone is not quite sure how to enter, I'd be glad to help you out.

So everyone is waiting till the last minute to enter. I've been known to procrastinate much in the past, and more in the future. According to the rules, the Super Bowl pool closes at kickoff TODAY, which having looked at the paper will be around 4 - 4:30 PM. I hope to see a lot more entries. Sunny I'm in Indy and I picked the Chiefs and Packers. I'm so ashamed! I'm cheering for the Colts but I chose the others from a gut feeling, and I have a big gut! I hope no one had Dallas or Baltimore they went home packing.

It is between 4 remaining, all of whom have the Patriots in their selections and none of whom have the Panthers. Therefore, no matter who wins the game, the contest winners will be decided based on the closest combined points tie-breaker.

O.k. the game started slow but ended being a good game. I disagree with the announcer stating that this was the greatest Superbowl game ever played but otherwise it was good.

Not sure about the future of such contests at Signs 101. The goal was to increase participation but the reality was that less than 2% of our membership entered.

Frankly Mark, unless participation here improves dramatically, I'm not sure what the future of Signs 101 will be.

CONGRATS TO GEB AND DALE... i wasa bit concerned when i saw the final teaam match up 'cause i STILL can't believe these 2 teams scored that many points... I figured Defense was gonna be the name of the game... but back to your ?... hafta see what geb wants but my order of preference is c. b. a. They're ALL good choises. Fred did a great job in his attempt to spur a little extra enthusiasm into this site. It's a shame more people didn't participate.

I can't get too excited about it. Last year the participation was dismal even though it took no more effort than making a post.

If I were to hear from 50 or more members that they would participate, then I would consider it.

I think this is one of the toughest Superbowls to predict in a long time.

Philly and McNabb look like the team of destiny, ready to shed the stigma of the last three years.

Hard to bet against the Patriots. Belicheick(sp?) is one of the greatest coaches at preparing his team, and they have been there before. I'm a Dolphin fan and I even like the "there in the same division" Patriots.

Lot of pressure in a Superbowl and you never know what to expect, but I am lookin' forward to this years game.
