Those that run a shop from home part time and work a day job, how do you handle your calls?

Do you just have a number goes to voicemail when you are at your dayjob, or do you have a job, where customers can get you all he day at work or on your cell?

I'm starting to get a few customers and I need to find the best way for them to contact me...

So, I have been thinking about getting a cellphone and letting them call that and leave voicemail when I'm at work.

I'm just afraid that most customers will not want to leave a message and would rather call the next shop in the phone book or where ever....

My wife is a stay-at-home Mom and fields all the calls that come in during the day. Probably not much help as the cell-phone is MUCH cheaper than a wife!

I meant to say....
If you don't have a wife, you can put the cel in your pocket on vibrate and keep dialing yourself....

Cell service doesn't work in my area. I just have a dependable answering machine handle the calls. Put a battery in the machine if you have that option to save any messages you may get from/during a power outage. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Answering service! Nothing like a live voice on the end of the line. Mine is cheaper than a cell.
