Has anyone used the Briteline 50/50 window perf and optically clear overlaminate for vehicle windows? We are looking at doing the back windows on the 2 sides of an Expedition, as well as the rear window. The digitial print would "wrap" - or flow from the side window, across the rear window, and then around to the other side window. We've use the briteline vinyl with our JV3 a lot and have had good results. Has anyone used their perf and lam? Any thoughts in general on doing windows?

It works good and is available in many widths. Good price point also. The house brand at Fellers also images good, think it is Concept (General Formulation). I used the Lamex optical clear with it. I am going with the Grimco products for window perrs when I reorder. The Briteline from Grimco iand Shinrite from Fellers are both General Formulation FYI. Both very good products.

I use the Briteline window perf and vinyl quite alot with my JV-3 and they work great! Actually, I did some windows with Briteline perf on a Lincoln Navigator windows last year full color and bleed last year...without lamination, and it still looks great today! (We did it as a test to see how it holds up and it still looks nice!) I've also had good luck with spray lamination over window perf but good ventilation is needed because you will need it!

Thanks - I didn't want to bite the bullet and spend a fortune on 3M window perf for a relatively small job if the Briteline product would work.

good to know. I know generally the perf itself is pretty much the same, it matter what kind of surface it's being put on, for the type of laminate to use. We've accidentally used non-cast, meant for flat adhesion laminate on some perf on a jeep commander and it was terrible, then we got some cast laminate and it's quite the opposite, it's so easy to lay now. If you aren't using the auto pro templates (whatever they are called), I highly suggest those too, so far only one thing wasn't the same as the actual vehicle and we've done probably 10 rear window perfs, finally making the last few perfect with the correct use of vinyl + laminate (even though the production guy thinks the laminate, no matter which one, is the same, it all has to do with the install, hahahah)

The Grimco rep told me that Briteline print vinyl is now Avery products, I didn't ask about any of the other Briteline stuff but I try not to buy Avery products and have had good success with General Formulations stuff.
