Heat, like from a torch not a heat gun, wet your finger and smooth it in.

Fellers recommends using a magnetic sheet over the window area then wrapping that... but that sounds silly to me.

I had the same problem with a Sprinter I did. I ended up replacing the logo that I put over the window area. On the 2nd install....I slowly applied the vinyl into the groove by smoothing it out down into the groove then accross than up the groove. In other words, I didn't stretch the vinyl. Pain in the butt but it worked. I was glad it was just a logo and not a wrap.

yeah the magnetic idea i thought was a joke...
we have done them by cutting the graphic at the bottom of the channel, remove the center stretched part, and then relay a new unstretched piece on the flat of the channel
it works fairly well depending on the way the graphics look
Thats why I am happy that the new sprinters channel recesses only go in then stay in the metal doesn't come back up like the pre-2007s...those old ones were a PITA. The only way we could ever get it to stay was heat, heat, heat, and patience.

Actually the magnetic thing works like a charm, you still have a tiny groove where the mag meets the channel but it alleviates that entire area as an issue.

I heard the mag trick came to Fellers from a very reputable shop.
At the last PDAA meeting, the 3m reps showed us a new tool. I don't remember what it was called, but it looked like a pizza cutter with a foam roller instead of a blade. They went into great detail, as a lot of the members were very interested. They said to go slowly, starting in one corner on the outside edge with a heat gun ahead of the roller, roll the media into the groove. Then come back and do the inside edge. Go slow enough to heat the vinyl to about 200*.
Next post heat and burnish again. Oh yeah, and use primer 94. I haven't had a chance to try this out yet, and I'm not sure if the tools are available yet or not. At the meeting (end of March) they were not.

Dumb Idea!!!!!
Imagine the look on your customers face when you remove the wrap and notice the magnets below.
AMATEUR!!!!!
If you are having a hard time using a torch and a squeege 3M sells a tool specially made for Sprinter vans and this specific problem. Call a 3M rep and ask you will be glad you did and look a lot more professional
Shoot, I don't know a damned thing about wrappin' except it is not musical.
