View Full Version : Arlon HP Wrap! Sucked to install.
We just finished this 2008 Scion and I can tell you the bumpers suck to wrap! I wish I could use 3M180 Control tack but customer needs this color and my printer gets close but not close enough. All their graphics are Arlon Slate Green so it looks better than if I printed it.
Over all it took about 2 days off and on. I have one more to do next week.

I'm new to all of this. How exactly do you get the vinyl to wrap like that on a bumper? Is the Arlon just a normal high-performance cast vinyl?
We used a heat gun, 8 hands, a lot of cursing and burses all over my elbow from crawling all over the ground.
and yes that just plain 2 mil HP Arlon vinyl. The whole back bumper in one piece of vinyl with only 2 cuts buy the back up lamp.
The front bumper has a few more cuts around the indent because that was not going to be done with only one piece. the vinyl go so thin it turned white so I had to cut it out and patch in.

Looks real good. The green by the front headlight is a nice touch. Clean and easy-to-read design.
