CV Signs

Whats up guys? Here is a short background check; I have been doing vinyl signs, banners, etc for the past 5 years, and I have just added tinting to my business. There we go, It couldn't have been said better.
I was just curious as to what you guys use when you go out into the field for tool boxes. Do you have a completely seperate set of squeeges, knives and eveything you need, in the truck, ready to go? Or do you have a checklist, throw all your sh*t into a box and just hope that nothing has been left behind?
It seems like when we go on a mobile install something is always forgotten, and I would love to get some input.
Thanks for the ideas in advance.

i have a small tool box with a reminder check list in there knifes siccsors squgees etc. so when i go out i just double check my list. i got the ADD
oooh look somthing shiney. i was always forgeting stuff but it would be a good idea to just make your self a install box so that way it's all ways in the truck with you....
I haven't got one yet, but those tool pouches that wrap around a 5 gallon pail would be great. You can place your pre-taped graphics inside the bucket..and it works as a garbage can as you do the job on-site.
Hint.. a few pieces of scrap magnetic material can come in handy when doing a layout on a vehicle.
Cheers!

I have a seperate kit for going out in the field. I put everything that I have in the shop in it except the big stuff like cordless tools and such. Those I pull out as needed and put them in the truck.
I like having a seperate kit in the truck for little emergencies that you don't expect. Like the other day, I was chatting with a client that I happened to see at the store and the subject came around to his truck and how it was doing for his business. Well, he says "It's great, but I noticed this bubble here on the passenger side" So, I pull out the tool kit and fix it.
Not only do I look good in his eyes, but I can actually get other business from a deal like that.

I keep all my stuff in a tool box and use it both for shop work and out of shop work.

I have a full work box in my truck...........cordless drill with charger, post hole diggers, all the installion hardware I would need for many jobs and all the other tools you might need on a job.........That why I call my truck a WORK TRUCK.............The only thing I don't carry with me all the time is the ladders......................

It seems just common sense to have a tool box for on the job installs, vinyl and/or sign installs. I have one and I carry a tool bucket with cordless drills, screws, anchors, ect.

Separate mobile kit. Grab & go. No wasted time on check list or looking.
