What's The Best Printer?

I need a printer for doing water slide decals. We have been silk screening them for years but the minimums leave us with stacks on the shelf. The ink it uses should be able to go outside (waterproof and UV protected). Resolution is only 300dpi, which works fine for what I do.

I print on a 8 1/2 x11 and 11 x 17 gellatin coated paper, then clear coat after the color imprint. Is there a printer that will let me clear coat over the color imprint?

I would suggest a Epson r1800..........It will print up to 13x18 and has some of the best print heads made.........Thier Inks shoud stand up to what you want to do also..........
