If any ol' racing stripe will do, most Clipart books have a section dedicated to them. If Mustang had a specific stripe that the customer wants, try looking up a picture of it on Google or see if the customer can supply you with one and trace it in whatever program you use (errr i'd be careful about Copyright infringement though, probably have to ask permission)

I don't think you're going to have much luck finding a "template" for rally stripes for any car. You can find pictures of examples of cars with stripes all over the internet that will give you an idea of what they're supposed to look like and you'll have to create them yourself.

Not trying to highjack your post but any idea where to get the vinyl inserts where it says mustang across the back bumper area?

I don't think restylerschoice is selling the stripes any more... they said something about their working on the templates? Last time I ordered one they were off some, but it still made it 10 times easier! It's worth a call thought!

all you have to do is measure the width of the stripes and make three measurements for the hood roof and back end . there was a guy who just did some stripes on a stang last week or posted last week. and those inserts you can use the mustang logo and measure it to get the size to fit inside or what i did was take a rubbing of the bumper to get the size you'll need.or like Stephine said you can just order them . you can find dozen and a half people on the web selling those

I have a file set in signlab that i use. If you measure the faux gas cap on the back .... just set a circle between the 11.5" wide stripes to go around it. The best way to keep the stripes even on the car is to put a 2" stripe up the hood roof and trunk dead center. Then install the 11.5" stripes wet ... and butt them up against the 2" stripe. This will keep the stripes even from the front to back.

Here are a few pics of the last one we did. The bumper gets rather tricky around the license plate... This one the guy didnt want it all the way down, but for the other ones the best bet is to cut it out by hand.

Let me know if you have any questions.... GOOD LUCK!
