banding

i am printing on 3m 180c, and notice some slight banding in some colors. i have the right profile, any ideas?? using a versacamm 300, thanks brett

When you say you have the right profile, are you referring to the stock profiles that came with the printer? We tried several 180c profiles that various vendors had for our printers and ended up custom profiling them to clear the banding. More so in orange, pinks, and blues. After the profiling a slight media adjust and we were printing beautifully.

Just went throught the same thing on a Mutoh. Check your media percentage height. Fixed our problem.
