after wasting one print, i decided to let it work without follwing the body line all the way to the nose. it's for a buddy so i figured what the heck. i really wanted to stay on the line but could not figure how to bend it that far, and yes used muy mucho fiero. oh well , live and learn. b

be careful on the front end , i only have a 30" versacam and the vinyl wants to climb up hill. not much room for stretching.

I plan on printing mine extra tall. I have a 53" Printer so i'll be ok.

my distributors told me not to use the 3m-IJ180 with comply, did you use comply on the boat wrap

WOODBS

yeah it was all i had , i heard the same but it's a buddy's boat so i figured it was good for the test.

not sure the Comply is the best choice. would think the IJ180 without the air channels is a better bet. wouldn't want any water to penetrate into those channels.

Did you lay it in one piece

WOODBS
06-12-2007, 10:22 PM
yase one piece. also it was hard to make the other side line up exactly with the first side. in other words ...it didn't. i made it work but a paying customer would require more thought on that issue.
