Hi guys, I have to create some vinyl graphics and lettering for a racing go-kart and they need to be layered with a white under layer and a silver top layer. I have a Roland SP-300 and usually just print the graphic with an outline, but since this requires the silver vinyl this will be my first attempt at registering two layers of vinyl (I tried this before posting this question with less than satisfactory results, so I'm asking for your help!) Should I apply the top layer wet so I can move it around? Thanks!
Not a bad idea to do the top layer wet, unless it is reflective.
But careful layout/lay-up? will give the same result.
I would typically do successive layers using the wet method ( on the substrate..in this case, a vehicle..) Not pre-layered in the shop.
Cheers!

clear Transfer tape. square registration marks at the top. peel the top layer and apply the back back on it covering up the graphic and not the registration marks. line them up and squegee down, flip over pull the backing off and squeegee from top to bottom.... done and RTA!
