Do you layer in house or out in the field? I would just like to know what everyone's view on this is.

On the job - always.

Cool, I thought maybe I was the only one doing it that way. I usually to the hinge for the bottom layer, then wet/app solution the second.

If none of the layers overlap we may put a logo together before going to the job but on the whole we would layer it up on the job

I have done it both ways and like to do it in the shop best. In the interest of time, as I can work on multiple things at a time. Then when I'm out on site, I can just put it on and go. Of course this depends on number of layers also.

both, but the quality is always higher when we do it on site.

If you layer at the shop you are almost guaranteeing bubbles when you apply.

in the shop - any bubbles that do appear go away after they are on a bit.

I do mine at the job site. It's just as many have said, you get few to no bubbles. When I leave the job looks good and I don't have to explain that the bubbles will eventually go away to the customer. Just my 2 cents worth.

On site. It's the best way to avoid unsightly bubbles around the letters. Outlines/shades down first then the lettering on top.
