Is there a water proof ink for the Epson R1800? Anybody know of a tech contact at Epson?

The R1800 is an inkjet printer, I don't know of any waterproof inkjet ink, but here's a link to contact support.

The Epson R1800 uses UltraChrome ink, which IS waterproof. Before I responded to this post I took a photo printed on Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper using Epson UltraChrome ink and ran it under a faucet in the kitchen, wiped it with a paper towel and no issues at all. I just wanted to be sure. To clarify, these are water-based inks that are waterproof.
BTW, replicator, VersaCAMMs, Mutoh Falcon, etc. are all inkjet printers - all use Epson piexo heads - all waterproof. That property is a function of the ink. Most water-based dye inks are not waterproof while most water-based pigment ink is waterproof.
