Hi, Everyone.

I own a Video Game store that refurbs arcade machines. I order new artwork for almost all of my machines, my order get expensive fast... almost a $1,000 $2,000 at a time. I am now considering buying a printer... although I have no Idea what kind of printer, what vinyl to use, if I need to coat the vinyl, what type of vinyl will stuck to painted wood.

I saw this and it I think this would work but does anyone have any other recommendations. From what I can See from other therads that Avery material is not liked that much.

I hope someone will be able to help.

I would recommend 30" Summa thermal printer for your needs, but having a printer is only a SMALL part in having your vinyl art made.

I have a HP 5500 Printer. I got a great deal on one from a local company. Refurbished and with a 5 year warranty. Now I just need a little help with type of vinyl. A my instruction book says it is compatiable with "HP Colorfast Adhesive Vinyl". Now I can order this vinyl, but i was wondering if anyone else had any other recomendations, for permanent adhesive vinyl.

I also could use some recomendations for a kind of laminate, I dont really need it for my side art but, the control panels need something. The Control panels I bought always have a textured feel to them, and that is what I want. Now, my current plan is to order something I think Will work try I and hope, unless someone can help.

Sorry for asking so many questions.
Jake
