I've got an order for a couple of Windshield Decals. I know there is a natural curve to the horizontal line of the windshield. What is the best approach to integrate this curve into my graphic and are there templates available for this?
In lieu of a template what would be a recommended approach for using a digital photograph of the windshield?
NOTE: My version of Lxi8 (Master +) does have the ability to cure text along a graphic shape -- is this the normal way to do this?

no templates as far as ive seen, you have to hand cut and it takes skill. im in the process of building a database of templates though, you would then have to use a wrap text feature or fill envelope.

You will need the ability to fit the text to a curve. Here is how I get the curve. I us a fabric tape measure as a flexable straight edge an we pull it from one corner to the other at the top of the windshield and put a small mark on the roof at the center with a grease pencil. Then measure from the mark to the windshield. This gives me the length and width for a box. I then go into my sign program and draw the box. I then draw an oval so that it will intersect the two top corners and just touch the bottom of the box. This curve is usually dead on for the windshield. I then fit the text to this curve. Not sure what you can do to fit the text but at least you can get the curve.
