hey all

have an install to do on a vehicle with a couple difficult things on it ....
I realize this isn't a wrap ... and the question may not be specifically aimed at car installs but anywho.

first of all let me say that this is NOT my design, this is from a company that rents ad spaces on vehicles so that small cities can get these free vehicules.

Look at the image and you will see my big question.

How the heck should I cut the microperf vinyl that is going on the window ( where the blue scriblies are )?

I obviously can't contour cut as it will not work ... and destroy my blade.

Any hands on cutting advice?

guess I'll cut it by hand.

that was my initial thought but microperf is a pain to cut properly I was wondering if any of you had some special trick up your sleeves :Big Laugh

well ... now I gotta print tomorrow and install on thursday woohoo ... first "install" ( actually we sub contract our installattion but seeing the person is coming here I'll help and learn ) but looks like it should be easy as pie.
No corners, I'll contour cut what's going to go over the signaling lights should be easy.

Anyone here ever work on a vehicule with 44 kilometers ( about 27 miles )only?

Are you kidding me? Window perf is a cakewalk to cut. Just trim around the edges with a razor blade, and you're done! One of the easiest print jobs in the world, is window perf. Just go slow with a razor blade, and trim right along the edges. All you have to do.

The perforated vinyl won't affect your blade any worse than regular vinyl. We do quite a few perf jobs, with no problems. ALL of our perforated is laminated with Avery optically clear overlam also
