View Full Version : custom shaped wood sign blanks?

Does anybody know a supplier of custom shaped wood sign blanks? For instance I need some 13" x 18" oval and some 13" x 18" square with inverted corners. I just need the blanks and I'm going to paint and install vinyl lettering myself. Any suggestions?

Pretty simple to make a template and get a jig saw/scroll saw etc.....

Yeah this job is going to take long enough as it is so I'm trying to cut down on time and find a supplier for the blanks

How many blanks of each do you need? how thick and what material, I can make them for you.

How many do you need? I can throw some ½ MDo wood on the CNC router and get them done pretty easy. Shipping might be a little much.

and send them a cut file
they will do these for you.

just charge the client more... or at least, more next time.

After you do these ones, $32.50 won't sound so bad.

I mean, I charge $25 to stick "NO PARKING" on a four dollar 12" x 18" aluminum blank...

I don't know how good you are with a scroll saw, but cutting ovals that look good is not as easy as it sounds.
