Signwarehouse's name on the GCC Puma II -30 plotter.
Before you buy a Stika for $500+ consider this. This cutter is 12x faster 600mm sec vs. 40mm sec. (23.62" sec vs. 1.5" sec).
www.gccworld.com/
The Stika can only cut 250mmx1,000mm (9 13/16"x 39 5/16") The Lynx can cut 280mm (11.02") by "unlimited". I've made plots 10-12' long regularly with this machine...
The Lynx has a cutting force of up to 400 grams. Compare that to the Roland CX-24 with 200 grams of force. This little guy can cut through reflective materials and sand blast materials "like butter". The Stika doesn't even list a cutting force. It can't cut through any heavy material. I know I had a now discontinued STX-8 which is extremely similar to the SX-12 for several months, before graduating to this Lynx. The Stika weighs 5.7 lbs. The Lynx weighs 22.4 lbs. It is a substantial machine.
It is in excellent condition and I will include some basic software to get started (no not Flexisign, actually a legitimate Roland CD with Dr. Stika Plus and a full featured Drawing program, Serif Draw Plus 6).
This plotter is $500 plus UPS to your door. It includes cables, manuals etc.
If you are local (10 miles) to Middletown, NY I will deliver it for free. If you are within 50 miles of Middletown, NY I will deliver it for 50¢ a mile. I can set it up and show you the basics in about 90 minutes for an extra $50. Middletown, NY is about 65 miles NW of NYC. I expect to be able to release this plotter from service by Friday, 1/14/05 and can deliver or ship any time after that. Thanks. send e-mail to hewel@citlink.net Thanks!

Bought a 24" Graphtec CE3000 today. No longer need it. I've outgrown it and am moving up... it will provide good service for many years to come.
