I'm not new to selling garments by any means, I have done a lot of outsourcing and mark up accordingly. I have also been doing one off dye-sub items for several years as well, which I usually charge pretty high prices for. People will usually balk at the price until they realize they can't get it anywhere else any cheaper.
My problem now is trying to figure how much I should be charging for smaller quantities (12-24) of garments I print on my VersaCamm with ColorPrint II / similar printable heat transfer material. I tried to configure Estimate to account for materials/labor, but the numbers are really high - too high. I'm just wondering what some of you might be charging for items like this. Most shirts will have a 10" x 13" imprint area - or close to that size, full color.
Thanks,
Gene

i use colorprint and print off the edge....i tossed your qtys and sizes into my estimator program, and the prints alone would fall between $18.50 - $19.75/pc....add $5 for the tee, and you're between $23.50 & $24.75.....hope that helps

I would be around $20.00 each complete.

:thread Hey guys, whats colorprint II ???? and where do you source it from?? and does it work?? I have used the Roland HTML and that stuff is crap.....I did a bunch of hoodies for a customer....lasted 2-3 washes, cracking, peeling, faded, never again. Just seen some of the latest product from Stahls....new digital material for use with the Versacamm....waiting for a sample.
Thanks for your help,

www.coastalbusiness.com is one place to get it. Beacon Graphics is another.
Siser makes ColorPrint. It is also available at Sign Warehouse.

We start at $40 for one Tee and go down from there...but not much. We use the Solutions Opaque for everything. Just one roll to keep track of and it can be used on anything.

I don't use color print II but I charge $18.95 for a full color 1 off on my DTG. I would think that using Color Print would be a bit higher.
high impact

We use Siser. It costs more but lasts WAYYYYYYYY longer then the Roland garbage. My prices are all over the board depending on what artwork we do or the customer wants. We'll print their's OR take a picture and "print it & stick it". I wouldn't do a one off for under $25, and quantity reduces per piece prices...
