Ok, here's the situation...We started in 1980 as a vaccuform company, kinda changed to Vinyl in the early 90's when computers came more into play, got REALLY into vinyl in the mid - late 90's and went digital last year. Now, I'm getting to the point where I have people wanting screen printed things on a more regular basis, and my biggest problem is when I sub these things out, waiting for them to get here. Soooo...I'm kinda at the point where I want to check out just a single station setup, that's like, 1 or 2 colors I'll be needing at most. Where do I start? I want to kinda get a rough idea of what I'll have just in the startup equipment, and then what all is involved in the actual screen printing process. I'm lookin' at mainly 18 X 24 coro's. Any advice? I don't think it's a hard process to learn...but am I underestimating it?

You can get a manual set up for cheap but the problem is the coro ink from Nazdar smells strong. I dont do em in house any more for this reason I have found coroprint.com has good turn around. I got some more tips if you still want to go for it.

12K is a bit high IMO. SW has something that looks like a Harco Coro SP for around $5K. Looks like it has the exposure unit and vacuum table. Not sure if that's what you're talking about.
