Ok, I have a vehicle template from Mr. Clipart and need to make sure I'm scaling it correctly for print. The template I'm using is 1:20 scale.. so how much do I enlarge it by.. 2000%? Please help me out.. I feel like an idiot having to ask :D

Just a word of warning. I would try and measure the actual vehicle as well. I have done a few different layouts using the same clipart you are and there was some measurements that were off and also different items on the vehicle that arent on the template, ie emblems, door handles, rear wiper arms, etc. I am totally for photographing and (accurately) measuring the actual vehicle and overlaying the design on that. It actually makes a great sales tool as well. I got my last 2 jobs because I used an overlay on their vehicle.

i always overlay on a pic of the customer's vehicle...i don't trust those templates...too much can go wrong...
becareful doing rear windows, hoods, and trucks, things like that always look smaller on the scale drawings. Even if the template give dimensions for such peice they all most always wrong becuase they measure the horizontal distance and not the actually distance.
