What programs did you use? How long did it take? I think your site looks terrific. In my opinion, if you can drive the business to the site it will make your efforts very much worthwhile.

Speciality or Specialty?
Speciality has a slightly different meaning and is primarily used in Great Britain.

Very nice overall look but you might want to consider some simplification... just my opinion.
I would like to discuss adding your link to my Resources page http://www.thesignexpert.com/TheSignExpert.com/Sign_Business_Help_and_Resources.html
As I think you could be a valuable help for other sign companies. Shoot me an e-mail and lets talk it over.

very nice, well laid out, and well designed --- however, if your marketing to the general public, that could pose as a problem because I has been my experience that they want things assembled for them (they tell you the job specs, you shoot them over the materials to use). This might deter them from buying through this site. Personally, i love it though.

Did you use an .asp script for this? I like the site, navigated through it quickly and easily.

Nice Simple Flow. I did notice that some of the UPDATE prices were missing under Magnetics and other Items so your making the Customer do Math.. Not good, need to make it Painless so a 6 year old can understand.
Next I would personlly loose the Information about the Roland Inks.. If your trying to Wholesale that may Hurt you as Opinions vary as to who has the best ink.. Yaada yada yada, and for retail who cares its none of their business as to what equipment/inks your printing with.

"ROLAND solvent-based UV cured inks Lasts for years without fading or damage "
Very misleading could open yourself to misrepensentation. Correct me if I am wrong Roland dosen't make a UV curable ink. Nevertheless a UV Solvent. Kinda contradictory,
Not trying to be an ass but just pointing out some issues.

Site looks nice except for the size. I had to scroll left & right to see the whole thing. The resolution on my pc at home is 1024x768 where I viewed it. You should make sure this won't happen. You want it to work in all screen resolutions. There are people out there still using an even lower resolution.

I am not trying to start anything but I went on the link at the bottom of your site where it says "
Shopping Cart Software (http://www.volusion.com/) by Volusion"
You say you developed the site yourself, it looks like volusion has done the deveoping for you. You had to put in the information.

i saw that too. but i wouldn't flame him up over that. I'm sure he spent a great deal of time customizing the volusion software. i mean we don't sat Fred didn't develop this site just because he used the vbulletin software.
in any case though I'm interested to see how he does with this thing.

I understand what your saying, When i first read the post i took it that he develope it by himself without any help then when i visit the site seeing the shopping cart program. I just have seen people that try to take complete credit for something without giving credit to everyone involved.

He build the site not the shopping cart. He's the administrator. The shopping cart is integrated to the website nad handled by volution or someone. I think theres a bunch of things to do if you handle the shopping cart or build one by yourself. Like securty and encyprition and blah blah. Let say Paypal for instance. If you integrate Paypal into your website they handle all the payment process not you. And if you do the shopping cart without the knowledge of making it secured and encryption stuff its going to be a headache (e.g. chargeback, identity theft and others). There's a lot online payment processing company out there paypal is one another is authorize.net and bunch of others who do the payment processing for you. That's what web designer do. That's money matter they dont want to get into that.
And by the way sasigns nice website. How much do you charge to build one and adminiter it?thanks

The only thing I would suggest is to change the first page to make it non-scrollable. Most people will not scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.
And you definatly HAVE to get rid of the left and right scrolling.
Otherwise it looks good.

My laptop shows the page fine. No left to right scrolling.
Your site looks very good....Nice job.

In response to to everyone about the development comment, We use a shopping cart system by Volusion. However if you were to do some research before making uncalled for responses you would see that the functions that were built in to the site Volusion doesn't support. We CUSTOM BUILT ALL THE SITES FUNCTIONS. Including the price calculator. Volusion is a management and order tracking software. But in any case thank you for you for your concern. In addition due to all of the hard work on the site we have currently sold over $6,000 in services through the site. We've done a lot of advertising and it has been paying off. But again thank you!
I like your design. it has it's own unique look and feel. But still good looking. your prices are good as long as you can make money..
Good Job

Nice website. Clean and functional.
Might be a browser compatibility problem with the people who had to scroll left and right.

No it's not a browser problem. It's a resolution issue. Alot of newer computers and newer monitors are set to a higher resolution and page size. But, there are alot of people out there still using computers that are a few years old with lower res settings. That should always be kept in mind when creating a site.

I designed & developed my printing site myself.
looks like a hack job of a default volusion cart template...
Not sure what you "designed" yourself, but if you think installing a script and mashing up a template/css file makes you a "developer and designer" then more power to you!
On FFox and IEG the layout was too wide, the menu tab extends beyond the screen, and the "high resolution printing" callout was cutoff (on the left)

Ok if you know anything about volusion, you can see that this is not a template. I am aware of the size issue and i will be correcting it. "sansigns" is the designer and i am the developer, i been in the industry for over 10 yrs. I have work on sites like AT&T, Cingular, AB, and other corporate clients. I know what i'm doing. So please do not compare my site to a template. Where is your site? I can show anyone endless examples of sites i have done.
Just to clear it up, volusion is NOT a script. It is a hosted online shopping cart solution. And has won many awards, it one of the best in the industry, and i know because i worked for there completer.
Do your research. Try using the internet.

just another poor execution of upload your own file thing. I did not see nothing to be proud of. Mistakes and non-sense sales copy only makes it worse. But whoever did you graphics (picture collages) did a good job.
Now why don't you explorer merchant member subscription before advertising to us?
