Convert Quark to .ai or PDF

I have a file which my customer says was created in Quark. Could someone convert this to an editable PDF or .ai?

Would a sign shop normally be able to open Quark files?

I already tried to have the "Designer" send it to be in another format, but she just wasn't listening to me and said she couldn't do it.:wink:
