Problems with selecting text in Omega

I have Omega 1.56. I mostly use the enter/edit text box instead of the text workspace tool/system. Lately when I select a group of text while in the enter/edit text window, instead of selecting that portion of the text I wanted, it selects everything there. This just started happening recently and doesn't happen in any other program on the system. I'd use the text workspace but it doesn't have all of the nifty tools of the enter/edit box. Anyone have any ideas?
