Methodist church cross and flame

a local Methodist church has asked me to do the cross and flame logo on the glass doors i have lxi software version 6.6 if i import the image as a jpg and trace to cut it leaves the center of the cross uncut . does anyone know where i can find one that will cut the cross too???
