I have several high end builders who want me to add clipart of high end houses but all I can find is cartoony and tacky. These would be vectorized and ready to cut. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Google million dollar houses, then go to images, click on extra large images and you might find what you need. I just did and a lot came up in good quality. Cut out what you need, add some personal touches, and you can give your client more than what they expected. Use some creative imagination and have fun.

Out of curiosity, what does "a high end image/clipart" have to do with being an artist???
We all use cliparts no matter how good we are, that's why Fred and other digital art developers are still in business.

Yeah...thanks for the helpful comment. Spoken like a true yankee cannuck! Down here in the South we're good ole boys...if my fiercest competitor is at the same marina I am and he runs out of black vinyl and I have enough to spare then it's his for the asking! Someday that may be me!
I freehand letter (that's using a brush with no ponce patterns) about 400 commercial fishing boats in the Chesapeake Bay area. So I don't need any yahoo with a bone is his craw telling me how to make clipart.
If you must know this image is needed for a charity banner that I'm not making ny money on so I am trying to give my customer the most bang for their limited bucks! Now go bury you frozen head back in the snow until the spring thaw.
Fred, please excuse me outburst. Gino can testify from the other site we visit that this is not my M.O.
Thanks for the help guys!

Not a problem. I left the comment up so others could read and judge for themselves. There's entirely too much prejudice in the world and that to me was just one form of it.

You received a solution. Forget all the negative replies. Sometimes that is the problem with this forum. Individuals take too much offense from responses. I am sure you visit regularly and have come to realize that there are a huge number of visitors to this forum, so you certainly can expect a "rip" or two. Blow it off and be comfortable with your abilities. Some individuals prop themselves up by knocking others down. It is especially easy when you are typing at a desk, alone and not face-to-face. Sometimes it is hard understand sarcasm in the written word. Have a great day!

Wow... since your artist is just that amazing ya' think maybe you could post some pix so we can marvel at their greatness? Didn't see anything in the gallery and I know you wouldn't want to keep those kind of skills to yourself... you don't strike me as someone who's scared to toot their own horn... or their artists' as the case may be.
Post up or shut up... just sayin'....

Thanks Gino! I'm like Gino...I'm BC (Before Computers). I'm also Switzerland...but I'm not France! I don't start a fight and I don't run from one! I also don't boast or brag..I just want to go to work.
Most of my business is vinyl these days and sandblasted signs. I love what I can do with my brush and I'm content with that. Is there someone out there better than me...oh heck yeah. Am I better than anyone else? I can't be the judge to that but I have an awesome and loyal customer base and that has to stand for something....plus it pays the bills and that's a good thing!
I like to read the posts on here and the joking. I don't comment alot on here but I take in alot more.

Oh yeah.....Gino! I don't know if you know it but Roland has cancer and he's getting treatment. He emailed me a couple weeks ago and said he would be out of commission but the doctors thought everything would be fine....hope so!

He mentioned something about it, but I didn't know he was gonna take off for a while. That explains some things lately.
Let's get him a welcome back present and sign him up here..... then he'll really have something to look forward to besides that porn shop of his and that jeep.......... :thumb:
