My uncle is using the Transylvania Coat of Arms for his business logo. All I can find is this poor quality pic online (attachment).
39092
He has this on all of his shirts, cards, letterhead, etc. & now wants a big one on his work van.
I have his vinyl lettering all layed out, but need some help on how to do this logo. It's a little complicated for vinyl, so I was thinking of getting it printed.
How could I go about getting this converted to vector, or does anyone have any good resources for a better quality logo? Needs two approx. 15" x 11" & one 6" x 4"
Thanks for any ideas.

Yeah, I found that one too. Too bad he won't use it instead:doh: I already asked him.
Thanks though!

here's the middle part... not vector, but bigger than your image & a starting place. If you couldn't redraw this, the vector doctor could do it for sure:

this SITE (http://www.lazarusorder.net/Order_Nobility_Heraldry.htm) had some interesting history, along with the same small image your father uses... maybe learning the history will help you broaden your search

That's less than a half hour redraw.

Maybe not because that's not the right shape shield either.
It's that border stuff that'll eat up the time.

With the help of The Vector Doctor, I ended up with this;
39287 (the one on the right).
This was my first time using him & it wasn't an easy trace.
Thanks again for all the help.

Nice work on the filegree, but that is one strange looking bird.

one thought,
the use of a coat of arms, especially a provincial or national one has to be granted.
You are probably breaking some very old eastern european international law.

I'm sure the "Knights Who Say Ni" will be showing up to enforce that one. :wavingflag:
