A customer gave me a file that they want printed and put on the door of their truck. It is a dst file. What program do I need to open it? And will it convert to a eps, or ai?

Thanks

its a stich file for embroidery.

Good luck finding software that will convert it.

That's an embroidery format... not sure you'll be able to open it. More then likely it has stitch set-up instead of artwork that would be clean to print or cut.

Coreldraw should open it, but I can't vouch for accurate the conversion would be. If you want to sent me the file, I'll give a shot at opening and converting to ai and eps.

I think I have seen a corel filter that would open embroidery files.
It has the instructions the stitching machine needs to follow; Colours pattern length and position.

I have an embroidery software that will save .dst files into .bmp files. If you need help, PM me and I will get you my email address.
