I was wondering if anyone is planing to go to the ISA show this year in Orlando? I asked last year, zero people said they going to the 05 show in Vegas. Im just asking to see more/any people where going to make this years show? ISA can cause infomation overload. :) Lots of fun though.

Is CW getting a booth for his printer diaper thingie? Its a cool fix if you own a Roland:rolleyes: . He's got 3 months to get it together.

I always go for at least a day trip when the show is in Orlando. I could be convinced to make it an overnighter if some Signs 101ers want to get together. Was considering exhibiting my clipart but that's looking less likely at this point.

We have talked about it, but I figured we would go to either a show in Texas or Indiana, I know its not the ISA show but ist where we have gone it the past.

Im probably going to try and get a group from www.PrintingDigital.net to gether at the ISA show, maybe we can join forces and have a big group meeting.

I will most likely attempt to go for another visit to Tampa, Fl to see friends & family so I may just book it for the time of ISA for at least one day anyways.

I will go to Ft. Worth, TX show this year as well. Hit Six Flags too.

How about we all go out to eat after the show on Friday? I'm open to suggestions on what kind of place or food. We need to first figure out who can make it.

I went to the Las Vegas ISA show last April. There's a decent chance I and a few others from our company will be going to the Orlando expo. It's largely going to depend on what a couple electronic message center companies are going to be doing at the event. If they don't have anything really new to show off to folks like us then we'll stay put.

and take some personnal days....................
Probably gonna head south to play golf....errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...attend the sign show...yeh, that's the ticket.....$280 round trip and free room and board from a vendor at the Hilton. Not bad at all.
FOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEE.

If we make it to the show I'd love to meet up for dinner. Looking at our work schedule we won't know for sure until Mid-March whether we can go to this show or not - but odds are we will. Tia's just disappointed that she'll have to stay and mind the shop!

If you want a seriously good restaurant you have to go to one of the Texas De Brazil restaurants. Here in Texas it is called Texas De Brazil, but Orlando does have one not sure if it is still called Texas or Orlando De Brazil. It is an upscale restaurant however, it is casual dress and around $45/person. Here is their website :

Texas de Brazil (http://www.texasdebrazil.com/index2.php)

Also if you are into Japanese you must go to Arigato's Japanese Steak House.

I assume that is like Fogo De Choa here in Houston. Brazilian steak houses are some of the best food Ive ever had...

I'll have to break out my best sleevless biker tee then being that it's a fancy joint.

Well Orlando is 200 miles up the road for me so I don't know the best places to eat. I was kind of hoping that a member might announce themselves that is from the greater Orlando area and could steer us to something good that's also reasonably close to International Drive.

There's lots of places to eat in every direction but reservations would be a plus on a Friday evening.

I'll be driving and will have room for 3 or 4 passengers. Anyone else driving?

LMAO Shovelhead........ Yes, Barry it is just like Fogo De Choa. I went to the one in Dallas and it was incredible! We too were concerned with being under dressed by the way it looked but hell, people were in there with shorts and t-shirts.

Most likely we will be driving up from Tampa Bay / Clearwater area. I know there is an Arigoto's off international drive. There is also a Planet Hollywood still there not far from International drive.

If you ever make it to Houston let me know and we can do the Fogo De Choa here. I think Ive eaten there 4 times since December.. :D I cant get enough of that place.

Looking up the website for the restaurant you are talking about, we have one by another name here in town, its called Gauchos, and we have done sign work for them. I agree, it is definitely a different type of restaurant.

I'm going to go on Friday and return home on Saturday. What i've suggested but gotten very little feedback on is the idea of us Signs 101 folk meeting after the show on Friday and going out for dinner.

Fred Weiss

No not at all. They have any number of categories for registrants. Just go to signs.org to register. There is a registration fee.

Going from memory, I think the show closes at 5 PM on Friday. That is when I would propose that those of us wanting to get together meet outside the exhibit hall.

I'm going. I have room for 3-4 people as well.

As far as places to eat. Tons of great places, from cheap to insane. What kinda food and price range per person.

Moonfish is awesome seafood
Cedars for Lebonese
Tons of Thai place
Tons of Italian.

Whatever everybody wants and has the budget for is fine with me. Are there any of the Brazilian style steakhouses like were mentioned earlier around the Orlando area?

Where are you staying Craig, or are you driving home at night?

We should be driving down and we'll have room for a couple people. Can't commit to it until a couple weeks before the show though... it depends on what's on the design schedule as to whether I can actually get away or not.

Vegas was great last year....
