how to plot from USB in Flexi Pro 7.5v5

I have a plotter that only has a lpt port and a com port so I use a laptop to do my work on flexi but it only has usb connectivity so I bought a converter and when I try to tell flexi where it is at (the plotter) it wont give me a usb option??????? only com ports and lpt ports and tcip. So how can I plot from a usb port?

Did any drivers come with the converter? If so try installing them if not go to the manufactures website and see if they have tech support section. We ran our laser from usb to lpt but had drivers to install to make it work.
