Just thinking outloud... I want to do more outdoor printing.. Should I convert my CJ500 to solvent? or sell it and get a new printer/Cutter?

I would not convert to solvent, you could upgrade to something like the triangle MLD solvent ink and get near full solvent duribility without converting your machine.
