Photoshop question

I am using photoshop 7 and was wondering if there is a way to insert special characters like there is in Corel Draw? For example I need some characters with the French accents on them. Is it possible to do that in Photoshop?

On a PC check the character map for the special alt characters. If you look around someone just posted a great link that lists all of them out. So the answer is yes you can in most fonts.
