COREL 9 WIN XP & CX-24 questions

I installed corel 9 on win XP , finally got the size setting correct for cutting but now have a question.. when it cuts.. it cuts like in dotted line style not smooth and fast.. what setting am I over looking?

are you assigning a HAIRLINE to plotted object?
do you have the right driver for XP/ROLAND?

Yep I got the hair line, and down loaded and installed the XP driver for the sx-15 but havent found one for the cx-24. The drives it has are for win 98.
