I using a Vision 2550 Router trying to cut a 2" letter out of 1/8" acrylic and having all kinds of trouble with the letters moving even though i have the acrylic double face taped down. Whats the trick or is it possible?

slow your feed rate down for starters.

the smallest letter you can cut is a lower case "i"

I've cut a lot of letters 1/2" and smaller in 1/8" and even 1/4" acrylic with a 1/16" bit on the router before we got the laser. Slow down your feed rates, set your z height so you cut the letter but leave the masking (paper/plastic protector) intact and that will hold the letters.

If you can set your dust extractors head to ride on the material that will help with lifting. Use your vacuum bed if you have one.

2" letters should be a piece of cake.

Hope this helps.
