I have no experience with it so I am only repeating what I have heard from the repair tech with one of the suppliers I use. I was told H.P. bought The Seiko Painter 64 line from epson, and was also told it is an outstanding printer.
H.P. also just purchased Scitex. Here is a link to an article about it.
