Scanner question

I'mlooking at buyning a new scanner. It's an Epson Perfection 4490 flatbed. Anyone know anything about them good or bad? It 42 bit colr, 4800 x 9600 dpi and comes with Photoshop elements. I've found it for $249.00 with a $50 rebate.

Marlene, Just got one and its a nice scanner for the price. We do
fine art repro and use a Betterlight digital scanback for all most all
our stuff we scan. We have used the Epson on a few small jobs and
they turned out real good.

You guys are making me feel old...I have a 1660 photo flatbed...very happy with it, plus Epson tech does excellent service.
