EPSON GS6000 profile

For those of you that are running an EPSON GS6000 do you have a print speed (for us it is 540x720 speed) that you tend to use more often than anything else. We build our own profiles with production house, and except for banner (720 4 pass) this seems to be the best all-around speed for overall quality of print. The thing that gets me is all of the profiles above this one that should net us greater quality and don't....

I realize that there are multiple factors that are involved here, but just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

FWIW, Banners print beautifully at the 720 4pass and the only one faster is 360 and that does not print well at all. At least not for what we are typically doing.

we run colorburst. i use the generic banner profile 720 4 pass. if the banner is solid black and i see some very very slight banding i will stop it and re-send it with a higher micro weave setting. have you tried using a profile from one of the banner manufacturers?
