Now that is a hell of a business model. Lose your license due to DUI? store to far to walk? or are you just plain too drunk to find it?

Don't worry we deliver booze right to you.

I had a guy in here that did the opposite. He delivers the people to the beer. Real classy guy...I pretty much couldn't get him out of my shop quick enough. He was telling me about how many raging alcoholics he had saved in his cell phone that would come to me for their signs if I'd help him out...I was like, yea, that's who I'm catering to...people who don't have enough common sense to do anything but drink till they've screwed up their life.

The liquor store in the town where I live delivers, it's great. I have'em in my phone under "Booze". I don't order that often, although I will admit it's nice to come home after a long day on a Friday night and not have to stop anywhere, just make a few phone calls and by the time I'm settled in there's a pizza and a 12 pack of mickey's at my door.

That's a Quebec thing.

Beer delivery is VERY common in most of Canada. We even have some drive-thru beer stores. :thumb:

That's sweet but we can get beer at any corner store :-p

Seriously, i think this guy was actually driving someone over on the Quebec side since this intersection is just after one of the bridges coming in from Ottawa. Plus his phone number is an Ontario one. I can't imagine needing this service here unless it is after hours and then .. people call taxi stands and pay double the price ... not that i would know

To explain the traffic lights i think it stems from the fact that not to long ago we could not turn right on a red light so we have most intersections with lights that have the red, yellow, green and some arrows on them.

i watch that video yesterday and didn't get it. just watched it again to see if i could figure it out... but i still don't get it.

is it funny because...

you can't order mixed drinks from a liquor store.... or cuz he keeps saying like 4/5 tequila and not saying what he wants the other 5th to be... or is he just drunk and not making sense.... or what?

a "fifth" is an old school size of liquor bottles. Much like today we have 1 Litres, 375ml, 750ml... years ago (back when I was a kid my parents used to own a liquor store), "fifths" was one of those standard sizes. Just don't ask me how much a "fifth" is... ;)

Great photo, and great you-tube video!

It's because he's drunk and not making sense and rambling on. I guess it's funny to me because ... ummm ... i've been that guy on one or two occasions.:toasting:

And remember .. Where Bambi goes nothing grows! :ROFLMAO::covereyes:
