Enroute 4.1 drawing shapes

I just upgraded to 4.1 in Enroute having trouble drawing. I draw out the shape, hit apply and they disappear. Anybody know what I'm missing here?

Which tool are you using. Apply works on some tools and some tools require you to press <Enter>. Give it a shot and see if it works.
