Finished this up this morning and installing tomorrow. It's double faced, all v-carving into 3/4" PVC. Pipes are 4" PVC. I used 1/2" threaded rod to anchor it to the posts. The rod goes all the way through the center of the sign from one end to the other, and is sandwiched between the two faces with nuts inside the post.

I made the post caps from scrap PVC as well. The overall size of the sign is only 30"h. x 36"w. and the sign only sits about 44"h. off the ground. Their logo is v-carved too with the oval being raised.

You certainly talk about the motorcycle, or maybe the sunset...

All latex. Behr premium with the primer in it already. Stuff sticks like snot on a two year old.

That looks great.

I'm not usually a big fan of black posts but this looks good.

Nice job.

What technique did you use to do the carved parts?

I sandwiched 1/2" threaded rod between two faces that go through the post with aluminum square tube spacers between the sign and the posts. The post are made of 4" PVC pipe and the caps are made from 3/4" pvc. All carving is v-carved into the face. The logo is separate 3/4" plaque also v-carved. All paint finish is exterior latex premium.

Thanks for the detailed description,
was looking more towards the type of machine that you used for the V-carving and did you use multiple bits

Have a 5'x10' multicam. used one bit on all of the v carving. Probably a 110 degree bit.
