I don't think you are allowed to post your website or email in your signature unless you are a merchant member.
And there is a way to not see signatures in your user CP.

Here's a link (http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51711) to the rule.

Not trying to raise a stink here.....but wouldn't the OP's signature already be breaking that very same rule? Personally I don't care....but I'm just wondering.

Here's the rule. It is intended to prevent advertising that competes with our merchant members and specifically prohibits supplying contact information. I don't see where the signature does that.

No Websites or Phone Numbers in Signatures
The inclusion of a website or any information considered to be self-promoting in the signature of any member other than a Merchant Member or an Admin is not permitted and will be removed without notice.

I see.

So theoretically I can have a logo that takes up half the screen in my signature, including the services I provide and where I am located....and that's okay, as long as there is not ph# or url.

Just checking.

i see a few here and there that must slip past the rule then....

what about links to facebook, twitter, etc? are those eligible for a signature?

Yes, providing they are not services aimed at our members and visitors. You cannot, however, include websites, email or phone numbers under any circumstances unless you are a merchant member.

The size limits for a regular member for signature images is 500 x 100 pixels.

Yes it has been an ongoing problem. At the present time we do not have any rules regarding social media links.

If someone is not looking for customers, what is the purpose?

If someone is not looking for customers, what is the purpose?

Perhaps peer acceptance or credibility.
