We had horrible results with our S70. We had it for 4 months and had nothing but issues. LCD went out, new take up system, firmware upgrades and we still had print registration issues. If you looked at a print, one side would look great but, as you progressed to the end of the sheet it became...
Do you have registration issues with prints? Does one side of the sheet look better than the other? We had an S70 for 4 months and sent it back and bought a 3rd GS6000.
In my shop we use the take up systems daily. We have (2) Epson GS6000s and we print (2) rolls of 54" x 150' a day and the take up system allows us to print all day/night unattended. We swear by it.
We had the same problem. We print roll to roll all day (150 ft rolls) and would have nightmares about running jobs like that on the Epson. What you'll need to do is order some Mutoh flanges and some misc. parts and get rid of the epson flanges. I can tell you that we print 1 - 2 150ft rolls of...
I know I had a bit of a rant on here about our Epson GS6000 a few months back about head strikes and the small media flanges on the take up reel and a few other things. I just wanted to let you guys know that we did solve the issues.
I solved the media take up reel issues by fabricating our...
I've got a Mutoh valuejet 1304 and we went to replace a black cartridge that ran out.. after replacing the cartridge error came up saying "not original" after trying the cartridge a few times we then got a "CMYK not original" error.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Any suggestions?
I don't see what you are complaining about. Who cares if your suppliers will sell to just about anyone. Do more business and this won't be a problem right? Now you want the government to be adding more taxes and fees to our lives as business owners? Are you crazy? That will happen soon enough...
I've taken this approach with my other company. I won't talk about how much we do in sales or the great profit margins but, let me tell you that it works extremely well. The key component is to be able to make the same profit margins as your higher priced competitors but still offer a lower...
First determine your market. Do you have a specific niche market that you want to go after?
Determine what materials you think would work best (ask other members what they use). Then determine sq ft costs and ink costs (be sure to pad what the manufacture says).
Determine what you want...
I've got the Mutoh ValueJet 1304 and it runs great. It runs almost 24 hours a day without problems. I think the only flaw is the speed and the ink capacity. Other then that.. Great printer. We also have an Epson GS6000.
