We went with SDS about a year ago. Mainly use it for trimless exhibit type letters.
Have only made 1 set of actual channel letters for a building!
Once it's dialed in and you get the rout file side of it in line, everything works very nicely.
We're upgrading to a new cnc. This one is still in production until new one arrives end of this month.
6' x 10' cutting area, 24,000 rpm spindle, Becker vacuum pump for material hold down.
AXYZ software and all power connection parts included - 3 phase.
$26,500.00
Wanted to see if anyone knows of or is using automated channel letter w/led quoting software.
Looking to streamline the quoting process and would appreciate good or bad feedback.
thanks
Was in no way suggesting that you answer every basic question posted. In fact, since you had no information on the subject, why bother replying at all?
IMHO, the whole purpose of this forum is to exchange knowledge and experience with others in our field.
If google is your idea of legwork and...
With that in mind, the entire forum should be replaced with a link to google.
But way to hijack the thread of a simple request for positive experiences with a vendor to be about you and your unrelated bad experience.
The Astley Paradox: If you ask Rick Astley for his copy of the movie Up, he cannot give it to you as he will never give you Up. However, in doing so he lets you down. Thus creating the Astley Paradox
We run straight up from the roll and just use the weighted cross bar. Never set up with the whole wrap over bar. Will get some minor walking over very long runs, but typically not an issue.
Love our Summa ST-160. Can't say it's the best, but after 8 years can't really see what would be a complaint.
Looks like you've got 3 options at basically the same price - imagine whichever you choose will become your favorite!
Negative margins should do the trick assuming the print is oversized - I usually add .125" all 4 sides and negative margin .125" all the way around.
You can also set the material up as non-detectable and specify a large size than the actual material.
If it's just the trailing edge you're having...
Well, thanks for the input, went back thru the firewall rules to allow port 8090 and deleted the most recent updates on the computer.
re-booted printer (for the 4th time) and all is well. Having to go thru to make sure something else on the network didn't jump in and camp on that IP
address...
Set up our new 570 yesterday, all was well.
This morning, not connected. Getting unable to connect to the following required ports: 8090
Went into windows firewall and allowed or opened 8090.
Anyone else have issues with this? Onyx was no help as it's an "IT" issue.
thanks in advance!
We're running 2 HP L26500 printers. Been very happy with both quality and consistency.
Haven't had any real issues with either of them. Very simple maintenance, they basically take care of themselves.
Thanks, that's basically what I was thinking. Print the swatch and the window in the read calibration swatch comes up receiving from printer then printer just cancels.
Trying to recalibrate using the 26500 to print and scan through Onyx 12.
HP prints and scans, finishes drying print then goes into "checking printer". After a few minutes of that I get "calibration canceled".
Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
Working on a project utilizing recycled plastic posts and am wanting something for backplates, most likely .125-.188" thick to mount "v" routed signs on.
Also looking for something .25" for the v routed signs as well. Must be a higher end look than the parks and rec type 2 color materials we've...
Have also been looking for dry erase material...Has anyone tried printing on the Wypet?
I see it's an overlam, but if it is a vinyl wondering if print would adhere.
