Any known supplier that would carry a darker yellow Sintra such as close to a Caterpillar Inc. yellow? All I am finding is a lighter safety yellow and I know thru the years I was able to get hold of the darker.
Thank You!
Few years ago a client brought in his own chrome vinyl to be cut. I noticed it was not like the metallized normal mirrored chrome.
Does anyone know what brand that could be? It was just like hp vinyl and so easy and fast to cut. Was not labeled on the inside
Was wondering what other substrates there are out there that can be used as a dry erase board. I was thinking alupanel has a flat side that may work and I’ll experiment tomorrow with the makers. Just looking for options.
Thanks in advance!
ive been asked to do some social distancing floor markers. Wanting to do them with my Gerber Edge . I know they run a scrubber daily so I’m not sure what to use over the vinyl to protect the graphic. Maybe purchase some floor laminate, apply to graphic then back to the machine to contour cut...
I have a 8ft x10ft sign ( two 4x8s stacked) to be produced soon in which the client will be installing. I was just told that the county will only allow them to use a one pole in the ground so they are building a field goal type structure. I have always used half inch MDO will no problem but...
Thinking I may have used these blanks many years ago at about a 2'x3' size. I'm looking for a alternative instead of allwood cedar blanks. Cost is getting up there! Quoting a 4' x 8' sandblasted single faced and need reminding of the quality of these blanks now. It mentioned that one side most...
Can I purchase 2"x2" x 8' sign post that are like what comes with a post and panel kit separately in black? I'm seeing similar types online at places such as Home Depot and such but wondering if they might me a tad flimsier than what you get with the kit. I'm looking to keep a architectural look...
i have a request for 6 - 3' x 3' signs and they are looking for a high visual orange ( they mentioned paint) and I was wondering if there's such a vinyl or substrate out there that I could use. At first I was thinking fluorescent but not sure if that would be the same brightness. Thanks!
Back when I was doing sandblasted redwood signs hot and heavy square footage was around 75.00 square ft. Single faced. I know it depends on your market area but what seems to be the going rate for a double sided one now?
I've always used cedar or redwood for my sandblasted signs. My question is what thickness would be correct for a double sided hdu foam? 1.5" or 2" thickness? This will be a 4x8 or 3 x8 mounted between 2 poles. Is that enough support for that size?
Thanks in advance!
Looking for the best 8" blade that will cut through Lusterboard ( double sided material, plywood with metal faces) smoothly. No matter what I use I always have to remove the spurs from the cut edges. Any recommendations appreciated. Not finding anything in my area.
is it best to print opaque white on chrome vinyl using the gerber edge? Using flexisign program with duracoat white and its not covering solid. Tried printing it light normal and dark but prints the same. Also it might not have correct settings for type of vinyl and color. I'm using FDC and...
Printing silver medal ( chrome) on clear. Running into a problem. In the horizontal run it prints solidbut has a few places on the bottom that are not printed. In a vertical run it started to print solid but then goes to just streaks. Heat setting? Almost sounds like a chatter when printing.
Been toying with getting one of these to play with. Ran across one for sale ( not close). I questioned the seller about different things and asked for photos of prints from that machine. He says when he loads the paper it throws a error and the printhead goes to the top and comes down but also...
I could of swore that I could print the max height that the edge would allow then contour cut the image larger than the 11 inches but when I go to do this in flexisign it wants to tile it and I've always used flexisign with my edge ( well the last 10 years) am I wrong?
Anyone use these for their edge printing? Was curious if they worked well in the older machines. Awaiting a color chart and hoping they have a dark caution orange color?
