  1. Processing... (but done printing)

We had the exact same problem. We finally tried uncovering the boards and keeping a fan blowing on them. Got another 9 months or so of use with no problems. But that was just a temporary fix... just bought a new printer last week (yippee!).
  2. VersaCamm Overheating?

Hi everyone. We have a SP-540V that is having problems. See the photo - these 2 boards are shutting off (the lights on them go off) which in turn causes the printer to stop what it is doing. We have had the cover off and a fan blowing on the boards, which has helped for a few months (no problems...
  3. Question How to stop Vinyl losing position during rapid move of print and cut Roland SP540V

We have a VersaCamm SP-540V and our contour cuts were getting progressively more out of whack, even at a very slow speed. I went into service mode and did a print/cut adjustment there and we are back to our cuts being spot on.
  4. SP-540v "locking up" after turning on sub power

Yes, booted up in service mode and cleaning mode. Spoke to a tech and because of "where" it was locking up in the cleaning, he suggested oiling the wiper rod (a light 3-in-1 oil). The rod was easy to get to and oil while in cleaning mode so I could move the wipers in and out. Problem solved.
  5. SP-540v "locking up" after turning on sub power

It just stops the cleaning process and doesn't do anything. No error message, just "Cleaning..." - stuck there.
  6. SP-540v "locking up" after turning on sub power

Help please! This problem started last week, randomly "locking up" after a sheet cut. Today it locked up a few times while using the Test Print function. I have reinitialized the limit (twice actually) in case that was the issue. Now, when I hit the sub power button and it starts to go through...
  7. Blurry Printing!

Thank you both! Yes, it was definitely due a cleaning - and now my type is standing up again LOL.
  8. Blurry Printing!

We have a VersaCamm SP-540V and it's been printing just fine. Now today, with a rush job of course, this is how it is printing - see pic. It actually got progressively worse after cleaning the printer and doing a feed correction and a bi-directional correction. Head height is correct, media...
  9. Help with VersaCAMM Cancelling Job

Both are set to "never". So that's not it, unfortunately.
  10. Help with VersaCAMM Cancelling Job

Yes, different cable. Ran an update on the VersaWorks software, seems to have "helped" a bit. Was able to get all the posters printed, but the printer would still "Cancel" and lock up after printing, when it moves the material forward and then back. At least it got through printing!
  11. Help with VersaCAMM Cancelling Job

Hi all. We've got a VersaCAMM SP-540V, running VersaWorks 3.0.2, on a network. I am trying to print a huge poster job and have run into a problem after printing 6 of them. The posters will start printing and then the printhead will stop (it's random where it stops) and the "Busy" and "Set Up"...
