I HAD the same issue as yours and something kept blowing the mainboard fuses so i gave up and my BN20 is now in the attic as spares

Did you try another PC And USB?

Did you check the small main board fuses? the system will still boot up but will still get errors I had the same issue buddy and it drove me crazy i put my BN20 into the attic with this issue it could be fuses? FFC Cables damaged, encoder strip dirty marked!
