Why only print on blanks? Especially if it's just coro. Way faster/cheaper to just throw down a sheet, print them then grab a ruler and knife and chop it up.
I'm not sure if the 360 works in the same way as the 570 but if you are able to download print profiles there is a good translucent one.. It will over saturate all of the colors for you. It'll look a lot darker than it should coming off the printer but when it lights up it will be accurate.
LOL. Yes but nothing is worse than wasting time on a print to not finish. Or worse... it be a tricky color, tying to get the same result on a different run. Especially with paneling wall wraps and such. I will always make sure the entire job will fit.
At the end of the day this is a bulk machine. The bigger the run you have the less waste you have. Eventually you'll get to a point in a roll where you know you just need to throw it away.
It's been good, I came from an Hp 570 so there has been some quirks I've had to get used to. There are definitely things I miss from the HP. But I am much happier with the quality and color accuracy of the r5070. If I could just combine both of the machines it would be perfect.
I mean we print on maxmetal Dp but if I mess up laminating and have to peel it up its inevitable ink is gonna come with.... not the "entire" print but chips and flakes will peel..
Hey everyone, I'm running 2 Duster 3000s in my shop. I can't seem to find a really good source to buy bulk charcoal and was wondering if any of you had some suggestions.
Thanks in advance, hope everyone had a good Easter.
I ran a latex 570 for 5 years and just switched to an r5070 a few weeks ago. This is my first resin machine but I can give my first initial thoughts about it.
First things first I will say that to me, the HP has better "quality of life" aspects to it. Things seems to be a little more clunky...
I'd recommend finding the 3m equivalent and rolling with that... I'm HP but you should be able download print profile on computer, import it into onyx then it should transfer to printer.
Our 570 is getting up in age, and with the addition of a flatbed, it's kind of overkill for the work it actually gets. Looks like the Epson r5070 is a good option. Wondering if any of you have this machine or any thoughts on it. Thanks in advance.
With all this being said.. another question is...
Can't say too much about different flatbeds but our Epson V7000 has treated us very well.
Pros
We've ran it all day for 3 years now and haven't had any hardware issues.
Bang for the buck, considered to be "entry level" machine
Great print quality
Don't need a second pass to print white or...
